The Main Cave

Subject: The Main Cave Thu Jan 17, 2013 7:57 pm

This is where the gang spends most of their time. It was a part of the mountain until erosion hollowed it out to create a den. Deep inside the cave, there is a small stream. There is also a clearing outside the cave, the flattest part of Winter Mountain.

Animals in the area: Mice, eagles/hawks (in clearing), voles, rabbits, rats, arctic foxes.

Eclipse briefly opened her tan snout in a small yawn. She waited for Lilith's reaction to her story.

Spitz studied Devil's face from a distance, and noticed the leader pondering. He sat back, unsettled but not showing it. There's gotta be a way to crush them... He thought.

Devil looked out at the pack's territory. There was a frown on her face and you could hear a low growl coming from her throat.

Lilith growled, "Wow, the nerve of that pack!" She snapped. The black pup shook her head and asked, "So, is there any thing that we're going to do to stop the pack?"

"Two pups and adults?" Dusk asks, then shakes her head. "How long ago was that?" She asked, having a crazy thought enter her head. One of them could of been my sister... The black and white loner thought then perked her ears waiting for an answer.

Eclipse looked at Lilith, then at a seething Devil. "I think so." She replied. She turned to Dusk. "Yes." The pup said softly. "And...one of them looked like you." Eli dropped her gaze. "I think her name was Dawn."

Devil was still growling. She looked around and saw a rat, and with just one pounce she snapped its neck. She ate is whole and in one bite. She licked the blood off of her lips.

A large, scarred arctic wolf yawned widely and got to his paws. He stepped into the clearing, the snow crunching under him as he walked confidently. Spitz had a taste for blood today, and he hadn't eaten elk or caribou in a while. With his scarlet eyes narrowed in determination, Spitz set off for Rocky Heights.

Dusk eyes widened at what Eclipse says. "Dawn..." She mumbles, then narrows her eyes. "No, Earthquake would of known. I asked him and Kagura and Devil when I fist came her." The black and white loner growls. "It couldn't have been..." She says, but as much as she tries not to believe it, she starts to realize that it could be true.

Ecli shook her head gravely. "Kagura wouldn't know since she wasn't part of the old loner gang." She sighed before continuing to speak the ugly truth. "Earthquake probably lied to you...to get you on our side. He figured you would leave if you knew Dawn was on this very island." Eclipse whined softly, hoping the fae wouldn't get angry and leave the gang.

A long shadow was casted on the cave's outside wall as Spitz entered the clearing, dragging a bighorn sheep with him. He hauled the carcass into the cave and released it when he reached the food pile. For the briefest moment, a glint pride and satisfaction shone in the white wolf's ruby eyes, before his usual bland gaze replaced the light.

Devil noticed the carcass that Spitz brought in, and she casually walked over to it and tore into its stomach.

Milly perked her ears and lowered her head as she scented wolves ahead(the loners), her hackles rose uneasily and she stalked forward, only stopping as she saw a big black gaping hole of a cave. She twitched her ears and raised her head slightly for a better view and she spotted some loners inside the cave. She just keapt her mouth from watering as she slowly crept forward, her eyes locking onto the carcass. Finally she froze as she reached the bottom of the hill. She breathed deeply and rose to her paws, forcing her fur to lie flat as she tried to gain confidense. She knew she would be spotted soon and her violet eyes darted from wolf to wolf, searching for the dominant one. Finally her eyes rested on a reddish fae who had just stolen a chunk of meat that another wolf had killed. She immediatly knew that was either a brave wolf or a wolf with a higher rank. She snorted and slowly padded forward so that she could be seen clearly by any wolf who happened to turn their heads and she kept her muscles tense, just in case

Dusk looked down both in shock and anger. Then came to a conclusion. "I'm not leaving, this gang has helped me get stronger," She says, then looks up. "This is my home now, no matter if Dawn is with the Tropical Skys pack. If the day ever comes to fight the Tropical Skys pack I will fight them." The black and white loner says firmly.

Milly perked her ears and looked up to see a black and white wolf speaking. Her head tilted slightly before she jerked her head to a normal position as she listened, interested by her words of a fight with some pack called Tropical Skys Pack. Milly shook her head and shrugged though she was somewhat excited that she spoke aout a fight, if this gang was going to fight, then the more merryer so she just might beable to join, Plus she also was excited at the concept at fighting. She just realized that she wanted to join this gang more than expected. She scolded herself with a sharp growl and stared at the red fae, "Uh, Im Milly and I was wondering if you could.... er use some more gang members." She said flatly, her tone and voice hollow.

Lilith listens to Eli's story about the history of the pack. She looked towards Dusk her friend spoke about the black and white loner's sister. Lil suddenly felt glad to not remember any of her family for fear that one of them would be in the Tropical Skys pack. The pups amber eyes watched Dusk as she told Eclipse not to worry about her leaving and that she would fight the gang's enemy even though her sister was in it. The black pup turned towards her friend to see what she would say. Lily then heard a new wolf speak and twisted around to see who it was to see a newcomer talking to Devil.

A gray brute climbed up the side of the mountion. He panted from his run and the quick climb. Reaching the clearing outside the main den he stopped. Quickly catching his breath the deputy stalked forward through the wolves outside and into the den. Looking around with red eyes with brute shearched for his red mate.

Spitz grunted as Deviless tore into his kill, but he made no opposition, instead stepping back in submission. His irises caught sight of a large, cream red fae. He smirked and stalked towards the wolf, who was obviously looking for Devil to join. The arctic wolf suddenly lashed out, his long fangs tearing across the femme's flank. Quick as lightning, Spitz hopped backwards, out of the newcomers range. He suddenly became peaceful yet alert after his short and unexpected show of strength. "Greetings, Milly." Spitz spoke in an equally flat voice. "If you wish to join the Loner Gang to Winter Mountain, talk to our leader over there, Deviless."

Eli almost breathed a sigh of relief. "That's good to know..." She replied. She glanced at the newcomer, Spitz, and Devil, then turned her attention to Dusk and Lilith again. "I wonder if Devil will decide to attack the Tropical Skys Pack?" Eclipse said, a hint of excitement in her voice. The silvery tan pup suddenly paused, scenting a whiff of the TSP. Was it possible that they were crossing the border? She gave her companions an urgent look, but didn't raise the alarm in case it was just a false one.

Milly stood impatiently for the fae to answer her when she suddenly felt a wolf attack her from the side. She snarled and jumped so that she faced her attacker, just in time to see the white brute jump out of range after he had striked her. She scowled at the white male, "Nice welcoming," She muttered then said louder, addressing the brute, "A pleasure to meat you as well." She said it sarcastically and eyes the brute carefully, ready to give him a wound of his own but she snorted and decided against it, knowing he would be tense, waiting to see if she would strike back. She sighed and flicked her tail, "Uh thanks..." she trailed off, not sure if she should ask his name or not. After a moments pause she nodded swiftly and turned her head back to the redish fae and stared at her, knowing her name was now Deviless. She sighed and shifted her weight as she grew impatient as she waited for an answer though she kept her muscles tense in case the brute or someother wolf decided to attack her, ignoring the slight sting on her flank.

Devil noticed a new fae [Milly], and didn't care that Spitz had attacked her. "Sure, whatever. What's your name?" She began eating the carcass again and looked back at the fae, then noticed Thunder in the mouth of the cave. She smiled towards with and began eating again.

Milly nodded as she heard Devil except her into the pack, "Milly," she said hollowly in answer to the leaders question. She flicked her ears and turned her head to see a brute that Devil was smiling at. "Hmm they must be mates or something." she thought boredly and she turned and padded to the side of the cave quickly, staring out into the sky before she sat down with a tiny sigh, her muscles tense and body rigid.

Spitz eyed Milly warily for a comeback. He had only snapped at her out of habit (in bio). When she never attacked him, he relaxed slightly. "I'm Spitz." The white brute said briskly.

Milly looked up as she heard a wolf speak. She noticed that it was the white brute speaking as he told her his name. She nodded to him, "Well as you know im Milly... and nice to meat you Spitz." she said, meaning her words this time without a tone of sarcasticness. She flicked her ears and watched Spitz's face carefully, wondering if he was going to snap at her again but she shrugged and shook her head, deciding to maybe tackle him later, when he forgot.... She chuckled quietly, her fur sticking up in excitement at the thought of a fight or just a little slightly aggressive contact. She was ready to get some adrenilin and get excited, she hadnt been able to fight anyone while she was traveling. She gave a small shrug again, deciding if no one wanted to fight she could just go wrestle down a ram or something.
Suddenly she froze, scenting unknown wolves in the distance. She growled slightly and stood up, her body rigid as it scented like a pack was ahead. She let out another low growl, allowing her hackles to rise as she glared into the distance untill her violet orbs locked onto a small group of wolves in the distance
(wait, can the loners see Seaspray, Rosa, and Dawn yet?)
